Statement

I am a successful photographer, with experience in many varied aspects of this medium – wedding, portraits, plants, products. I have a sympathetic approach with people, making my clients feel reassured and comfortable, so that when I capture the image, the real personality is portrayed and the photographs tell the story of the event. I take time and effort to achieve a professional result every time, working to create photographs that will have durability. My work has been displayed in exhibitions, galleries, catalogues and marketing presentations.  I have produced images for many sorts of publications (eg Lark Books) and for numerous projects – local, national and international. My background as a highly experienced, commissioned ceramic artist provides me with a depth of understanding of form, texture and shape, which I incorporate into my photographs, creating the best aesthetic effects and conveying a depth of understanding.
